History:
Rufus Berry began his work as a cook for Southern Comfort and other southern-style restaurants before opening his own barbecue restaurant. Berry’s BBQ has been a part of the Burien community for over a decade before Rufus’ passing. Customers remember Rufus as a wonderful man who made everyone that walked through the door feel welcome and appreciated.
His sister, Judy, recently reopened the restaurant in 2022. She's continued making the mouth watering receipes that Berry's BBQ is known for!
